How to get to Barcelona

Barcelona airport is located 16 km south of the city, and is also known as Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat. Barcelona can also be reached by transport links from other regional airports, including Girona, Reus and Lleida-Alguaire.

Connections between Barcelona airport and city centre:
Aerobús (A1 and A2) – Daily service between Plaça de Catalunya and Barcelona Airport.
Frequency: A1 every 8 min, A2 every 15 min. Journey time: 35 min.
Train (RENFE) – Daily connections with Barcelona Airport from RENFE stations at Sants.
Frequency: every 30 min. Journey time (from Sants): 17 min.
Metro (TMB) – L9 sud metro line connects the city and Barcelona airport (T1 and T2) daily.
Frequency: every 7 min. Journey time (Zona Universitària): 32 min
Bus (TMB) – Bus 46 runs from Pl. d’Espanya to Barcelona Airport (T1 and T2) daily.
Frequency: every 25 min.

Arriving by Train
Barcelona operates a number of direct high-speed rail routes to cities in France, including Paris, Lyon and Perpignan, and more than 30 destinations across Spain, including Madrid and the south-east and southern regions.

Estació d’autobusos Barcelona Nord has the most national and international connections. Busses also depart from Estació d’autobusos Barcelona Sants.

How to get to the venue

From the Barcelona Airport
Take the Aerobús A2 towards Plaça de Catalunya. Get off at Pl Espanya and there take the metro L1 towards Fondo. Take off at the stop Glòries and from there walk for 10 minutes towards Poblenou Campus.You can also take the Aerobús A2 and get off at Pl Universitat, walk for 5 minutes to the bus stop Gran Via – Balmes and there take the bus 7 towards Fórum. Get off at Diagonal – Ciutat de Granada and walk for 5 minutes to Poblenou Campus.

From Plaça de Catalunya
Take the metro L1 towards Fondo. Take off at the stop Glòries and from there walk for 10 minutes towards Poblenou Campus.

Ticket information 
For metro and bus you can day multiple day tickets (48h, 72h, 96h or 120h) or a single ticket for €2.55.Please be aware that you need to purchase a special Airport ticket for a single metro journey between the airport and the rest of the metro network for €5.50. You may purchase the multi-day tickets online and the rest in every metro station.
